Reviews
Ideal location with beautiful vistas on and access to the surrounding glacier and peaks. Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere in the dining area.
Rooms are clean and ok but quite cold throughout the day (heating is only turned on in the evening). The structure and facilities are maintained but definitely need some renovation in the next years to come. Amounts of plastic used are enormous (cups for drinks/ breakfast items etc. but might be owed to hygiene laws or lack of water). Prices are fairly high, irrespective of the location and costs for transport and logistics. Around the region (also cross-border) huts take less for the same.
The website claims that they have hot water, that dogs can stay in the rooms and that the heating works properly... All deceptions. On the top of that, there was mold in the butter at breakfast and the staff gave us unreliable travelling information. Given the 79 euros for staying overnight, I was bitterly disappointed.
Unfriendly personal. Even peeing costs 1 € - even though we paid 60€ for the stay. Drinks are served in plastic cups - not quite environmental friendly.
Food not the greatest, house a little worn down, but most people will come here for the location which is great.
Amazing place, must visit once in a lifetime at least, looks like Iceland in italy
Very old structure but welcoming personnel. Good enough for a night stay
Cult rifugio, incredible location and decent food
Nice rifugio on the verge of the Solda glacier
